Allison shares that a common addiction in our world is UNCERTAINTY! She explains that in this chaotic and fast-paced world, there is so much uncertainty with situations such as terrorism, infectious diseases, mass media, politics, environmental changes, etc. It was within 15 years of work as an attorney, Allison was forced to accept that was addicted to uncertainty. She found hope and freedom when she discovered the life-altering mindset of the concept of MAYBE.
Releasing the “need to know” and shifting to “maybe” has helped thousands of people to liberation and feeling safe again. The outcomes of living in the state of “maybe” are:
Reduction of stress and anxiety
Creating more opportunities in life
Viewing uncertainty as a place of hope
Minimizing self-doubt as an obstacle to moving forward
Finding joy in the moment instead of worrying about the future!
Allison shares two ways to prepare emotionally for unexpected turns in life and to counter the stress and anxiety that come with them. These two ways are:
Gratitude and Maybe Statements. Allison expands upon the importance of implementing these two elements within our conversation.
The simple message is this:
“Live might not always go as planned or expected, but the mind-set of “Maybe” offers us a way to reduce stress and worry, and find a path to achieve all that is possible in our lives” ~ Allison Carmen
