We also talked about etiquette in business networking and how important it is to ask for permission to be added to an email database, as well as to be added to a social media group. A business card exchange does not give permission to do that.
A golden nugget: “the only difference between a contact and a contract is the R, which stands for relationships”! Patty also shares a brilliant concept about what to do with a business card! Have a pen and paper ready to take notes. She offers a plethora of information that you can utilize to streamline your business and apply networking techniques immediately.
