The great debate: When is your manuscript ready for a second pair of eyes? It’s important to get outside feedback. Even the most organized writer can lose sight of the forest and only see the trees. There is a tendency to delay until you can “make it perfect.” However, the longer you wait, the harder it will be to take feedback and be willing to change the flaws in your book. The sweet spot is usually after draft two is complete but before you embark on draft four.
