Flawd: How to Stop Hating on Yourself
In this episode of The Nancy Ferrari Show, I am honored to introduce you to my guest, Emily-Anne Rigal, founder and director of WeStopHate.org, and author of her newly released book “Flawd: How to Stop Hating on Yourself, Others, and the Things That Make You Who You Are”.
She is also an activist, speaker and YouTube personality who has captured the attention of supporters such as Meryl Streep, Whitney Port and Lady Gaga.
Newsweek Magazine acknowledged her as one of their “150 Most Fearless Women in the World”, was awarded with MSNBC’s “Foot Soldier of the Week”, the recipient of the Peace First Prize in partnership with Family Circle Magazine and recipient of Nickelodeon’s H.A.L.O. Award! Her accomplishments are acknowledged as she started her You Tube Channel, We Stop Hate when she was only in high school and has received over 1 million viewers. Now as a 21 year old and an undergraduate at Barnard College, she continues sharing her messages of positivity and inspiration within her book Flawd and shares candidly and compassionately about how teens can shift from feeling unheard, misunderstood, and unloved to making conscious choices of empowerment and embrace themselves just as they are.
