5FOR5 – Networking: The Devils In The Follow-up

Today on this 5FOR5 periscope, Caren Glasser talks about Networking: The Devils In The Follow-up

Networking how to follow up

You’ve attended a networking event. Now what? A networking event is just the beginning point for connecting and relationship building — How you follow-up is the key.  If you’ve decided someone you met at an event has made it to the top of your priority list for follow up, then take the next step for starting the conversation. I suggest that you follow-up within 24 hours.

Here are 5 Tips to follow-up like a pro after a networking event:

Tip 1. Send an Email – email – get mailing address, video email, audio email

Tip 2. Make a Phone Call – Set appointment

Tip 3. Drop Into Your Social Media – Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

Tip 4. Send a Greeting Card – I use Send Out Cards.  Connect with me to find out how to use it in your business

Tip 5. One on One –

  • Skype
  • Hangout
  • Blab
  • in person
  • Pass a referral
  • Interview them
  • Share
