5 Tools To Help You Work Smarter Not Harder
If you are just starting out or are a seasoned entrepreneur, having these 5 productivity tools will help you work smarter instead of working harder
Here are the 5 tools I use that helps my business run like a finely tuned machine.
1. WiseStamp www.wisestamp.com
WiseStamp is a free web browser extension, which supports Firefox, Google and Chrome. The WiseStamp strong platform has a variety of Email Apps that allows users to make a better use of their daily emails – adding a whole new level of functionality and interaction. It can be used in Gmail and Yahoo to name only a few. Link your social media, add a YouTube video or maybe an inspirational quote that changes daily. It’s on the end of all my email correspondence as a call to action and is a professional way to show who you are, what you do and what you would like them to do next!
2. v’Cita www.vcita.com
Getting people’s attention and engagement is only part of marketing and growing your business. You must get them to take ACTION to close the sale, book the gig, complete the transaction or it’s all “just talk”. It has an easy to use appointment reservation system that sends reminders by email or text message. It utilizes customizible forms, document sharing, a Live Site plugin for your website and Social Media links as well. You can see it in action here: www.ConnectWithCaren.com
3. Streak www.streak.com
Streak is a Chrome extension that ties in with your gmail account. Run your entire business from your Inbox. Manage your everyday processes so you can close more deals, resolve more support tickets, and Get Things Done. Collaborate with a single click. Share contacts, email, files, and anything else needed to get the job done. The feature I really like is being able to track when someone opens my email. And it’s FREE!
4. Dashlane www.Dashlane.com
Never forget another password again. Keeping track of all your passwords is amazingly simple with Dashlane’s free password manager. You Organize all your passwords, Get your passwords wherever,
whenever you need them and Auto-save passwords, and watch Dashlane type them for you in one secure place. There are mobile apps for android and iPhone and if you upgrade to the premium version, your passwords will sync, every time you change it.
According to Wall Street Journal
“Neither Dashlane nor a hacker (or government agency) breaking into the company’s systems could access your data without knowing your master password. This setup prevented Dashlane from even being vulnerable to the recent Heartbleed security catastrophe.”
– Geoffrey A. Fowler
5. Trello www.Trello.com
This is my go to project management tool. Trello lets you work smarter, more collaboratively and get more done. Trello’s boards, lists, and cards enable you to organize and prioritize your projects in a fun, flexible and rewarding way. And it’s always in sync. When you have the Trello app on your mobile device you can collaborate with your team anywhere, from sitting on the bus to sitting on the beach. It’s a perfect app to monitor them wherever you are. In fact, a lot of remote workers are using Trello because for them it’s a simple way to visually organize to do items into lists. No matter where you are, Trello stays in sync across all of your devices. Add your teams, upload documents, create checklists and use templates for things you do on a regular basis… And it’s free!
